Haunting in the Hamlet

Join County Fare at “Haunting in the Hamlet” on Saturday, October 27th in Consecon.

“The festival is a town-wide one in which different locations (businesses, service organizations, etc) host different events throughout the day.  We try to stagger everything so that you can attend all that haunt and taunt you and we encourage you festival-goers to travel about to collect passport stamps (giving you a chance to win something spooktacular!).  But you have to check the schedule and plan your day accordingly.  As we grow, so too do your options.

Thanks to the Ameliasburgh Recreation Committee, the event is sponsored and supported by the local municipality ('The County').  And with the help of participating businesses and devoted volunteer residents, the day is frighteningly fantastic!  There is so much spirit (and so many spirits, too) in this old town (land first cleared in 1802) that it magically comes together each year.”

Join us 37th Annual Women's Art Festival in Kingston, ON on Sunday, August 19th!

"The Kingston Women’s Art Festival was started in the late 70’s by a group of women interested in promoting the work of women artists. The event has grown from its small roots to become a well-recognized and highly anticipated Kingston event. It now features over 200 artists, a full day of women’s music, dance and singer-songwriter performances, a silent auction, a children’s activity area, great food from local vendors, and over 4,000 visitors. The crowd is always representative of the whole community and many local residents make it an annual outing for the whole family. It has also become a favourite with the tourist crowd."
